The plural of ganglion is ganglia.

Ganglion is a Greek word, taken over by medicine and related sciences. Its basic meaning is that of 'a swelling'. Now, it is most commonly used for a group of nerves or nerve-processes in the brain, or a knot or lump of nerve cells within the rest of the body.
