Isocolon

An isocolon is a Figure of Speech which is to do with balance, or equal length, or parallelism of a very specific sort. OED defines it more precisely as "Use of parallel structures of the same length in successive clauses". The word is derived from the Greek ισος 'equal' and κωλον 'a rhythmical unit of sentence', 'a clause'.
