Kartvelian

(Redirected from Karto-Zan)
Georgian (the national language of Caucasian Georgia) is the largest language in the Kartvelian Language family. This is also called South Caucasian, that being the region where these languages are spoken.
Kartvelian contains Svan; Georgian-Zan (or Karto-Zan), perhaps best called Georgian; Judaeo-Georgian (which seems comparable to Yiddish), and Zan, with sub-languages Mingrelian and Laz.
