This was first published in London by Routledge & Kegan Paul in 1966. It has been re-published and reprinted by various firms many times since.

This is a guide to the classical mnemonic technique to be found in Rhetorica ad Herennium (anon., ca. 90 BCE), Cicero's De Oratore (55 BCE), and Quintilian's Institutio oratoria (c. 95 CE).
