Articles on all features of English that are obsolete (or obsolescent), but that which modern students may be expected to see in the course of their reading. Our readers include those studying History and Literature; and while we don't furnish a guide to reading all historic texts, we should at least offer guidance to people who come across pre-decimal currency or 'thee' and 'thou' in their reading.
