Hung

This is now the regular (normal) past form, both as past tense and as past participle, of the verb 'to hang' in all its senses. See also Hang (irregular verb).

For an older variation, see hanged - hung. This is a usage that historians may come across, and that criminologists may like to adopt. It dates back to the days of capital punishment in the United Kingdom.
