If I mention several things ‘schools and universities’, for example, and then make similar statements that refer to each of them (‘ages of students are 11-18’, and ‘ages of students are mostly over 18’), I can write more economically ‘ages of students are respectively 11-18, and mostly over 18’ – respectively means ‘in the same order’.
