- The Chicago Manual of Style, (15th ed., 2003), Chicago, University of Chicago Press.
- This is one of the premier sources for advice about layout, presentation and referencing. It is much recommended in American Higher Education. It is the authority that lies behind Turabian's manual for student writers.
