The past form, disappeared, of the verb 'to disappear' is one of the 117 mis-spellings listed as 'Common difficulties' in the section on 'Spelling' within 'Writing' in UEfAP.
Disappear and all its inflections has one '-s-', two '-p-'s and one '-r-'. (The '-s-' comes from the negative prefix 'dis-', and the rest is the verb appear, which always has two '-p-'s and only one '-r'.)
